Can Reflexology help me?

Most people benefit from treatment  and Reflexology brings relief to a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, and is suitable for all ages. Reflexology is not just for ill people, it can help prevent healthy people from becoming ill.

An increasing number of people are using this safe, natural therapy(1) as a way of relaxing, balancing and harmonising the body.

1 - Reflexology is a natural therapy - No drugs are involved, and it is non-invasive.

Relieves Stress and Tension When we suffer from stress, the body's defences can break down and we become susceptible to all kinds of illness. Reflexology helps combat the effects of stress.
Improves Circulation Stress and tension can tighten the cardiovascular system and restrict blood flow. This can slow down our circulation upsetting the flow of vital nutrients to our body's cells.
Cleanses The Body Of Toxins Toxins build up in our bodies and when suffering from stress we become less efficient in eliminating waste products. Working on the reflexes of the lymphatic system helps maintain our ability to clear toxins and waste products from the body.

Helps Balance The Body

Just like a finely tuned racing car, our body needs to be maintained with all parts running at peak efficiency and in harmony with each other. Reflexology helps maintain this equilibrium.
Offers Preventative Health Care Regular treatment helps us relax and keep stress levels to a minimum allowing the immune system to fight off infections.

Reflexology is a wonderfully relaxing therapy and it can induce deep relaxation to the point that some people fall asleep during treatment. With recent studies showing stress contributes to a high proportion of illnesses, Reflexology can be considered an important part of preventative health care.

Reflexology does not claim to be a 'cure-all' but numerous disorders have been successfully treated by this method. Reflexology has helped many people suffering from a wide variety of common medical complaints including;

    Stress related conditions

    Sinus congestion

    Anxiety and depression

Irritable Bowel Syndrome and other digestive disorders

    M.E. (chronic fatigue syndrome)

    Hypertension

    Migraine

    Vertigo

    The symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis

    Headaches / Migraine

Reflexology is a holistic therapy, the complete body is treated and treated as a whole. Once your body is in-tune, it is wise to have regular treatments in order to help maintain health and well-being.

Reflexology is a complement to standard medical care. It should not be construed as medical advice and should never be viewed as a replacement for medical help.
